Next step is welding the roof back in place. We painted the top of the tubing and under-side of the roof white so when the final paint goes on, everything is painted.

October 30th, 2011Took the Camaro over to a friends shop, The Race Car Ranch. Now I’ll be able to get the rest of that damn undercoating removed.
Found a Fuel Cell!
June 16th, 2011In keeping with the “Budget Build” theme of the Twisted Camaro, I came across a perfect used fuel cell. The cell, a Fuel Safe model SM122B retails for $1,206.20 from Fuel Safe. My cost, $75! Hell Yea! That’s a deal. Thank you goes out to Harry Warnick from Ormand Beach for hooking me up with a great deal! It is well worth the 6 hour round-trip drive from here to Ormand Beach.

June 2nd, 2011We just got the hubs, Speedway Engineering Hubs no less, rotor and caliper. The spindles are at the machine shop getting some larger brake mounting holes tapped. When we get the spindles back we’ll start mocking up the front brakes.
