Last of the factory brackets are coming off!

Tuesday, February 15th, 2011

Taking all of the factory brackets off the car.  It’s time consuming but all of that useless metal adds up.  We need to lose as much weight as possible.

Holes left from seat belt anchor

This bracket weighed in at 4lbs!

Every bolted on part is off of the car.  The front end and cross member were the last to come out.  Now it’s nothing but a bare shell!

No suspension.

We had a blog previously that tracked the Twisted Camaro build but our server was hacked and all data was lost.  So instead of trying to recreate the old blog, I’ll post all of the pictures from the past and comment on them where necessary.  I’ll then start with the most current work and try to update the build regularly.

So, below are some of the photos of the car from when it was purchased up to today.
